The Joe Rogan Podcast
To me, there is no one creating better content than The Joe Rogan Podcast. Rogan is a prolific producer of shows and his guests are consistently captivating.
Joe is a comedian at heart but his podcast does not revolve specifically around comedy. Quite often the discussions center around deconstructing life and examining current social issues.
Those are the topics that have always most fascinated me about his show.
While there are countless individuals from a wide range of interests and walks of life who have made repeat visits to the Joe Rogan Podcast there is one individual who I believe is the undisputed best recurring guest. That guest is Duncan Trussell.
Duncan Trussell is a comedian and an acclaimed podcaster in his own right. He seems to possess a considerable desire for exploring consciousness and is rather open about detailing his journey in trying to figure out what life is truly all about.
Like Joe, his interests are varied and he takes a thoughtful and thorough approach to the hobbies and concepts he enjoys exploring, be it technology, literature, futurism, or Buddhism.
Every single appearance Duncan has made on The Joe Rogan Podcast has earned must-watch status.
He consistently enjoys entertaining discussions with Joe and the two share special chemistry beyond an apparent close friendship.
Duncan always drops some significant nuggets of wisdom when he is on the podcast but he does so in a lighthearted manner and never from a place of pretentiousness.
There are also plenty of organic laughs to be had between Duncan and Joe but nothing funny from Duncan ever feels forced or contrived.
Duncan’s unique voice and laughter alone can interject positivity and fun into an entire podcast episode.
In honor of bestowing the title of the undisputed greatest recurring guest on The Joe Rogan Podcast we have compiled here for you some of Duncan Trussell’s greatest moments:

Duncan is also part of a recurring triumvirate that takes place on The Joe Rogan Podcast.
It occurs when Duncan hooks up with author and fellow podcaster Christopher Ryan to join forces with Joe to form a mighty trio of intrigue and laughs.
Whenever these three get together for an episode you are guaranteed to get existential life debates, some legit laughs, and everything else in between. The three of them share incredible on-air chemistry.

Duncan Repeat Visits In Early 2020
JRE #1444 – 3/19/20
Just when we needed him the most, Duncan Trussell returned back to the studio with Joe when the world was turning upside down.
While Joe already explored the Coronavirus through a credentialed infectious disease expert in Michael Osterholm, Joe got to discuss the existential and emotional aspects of enduring life through a pandemic with his good bud Duncan.
Right from the onset, this episode was classic Rogan and Trussell dialogue from the whacky outfits to burning sage, let alone their always compelling and mind-opening banter.
Coronavirus, atheism, technology, death, dreams, and so much more. Everything we have come to know and love from a Duncan Trussell appearance is all contained in his triumphant return.

JRE #1464 – 4/25/20
If anyone felt the full face mask was a bit distracting from Duncan’s first visit in 2020, fear not, as he quickly returned back to the Rogan compound for another stellar visit.
From mud fetish videos to Duncan applying to the CIA while stoned out of his mind, this is classic Trussell and Rogan banter.
Here is to hoping that two back-to-back monthly visits are an indicator of a strong year on Rogan with plentiful visits from Duncan.

Duncan Trussell Netflix Series
On his most recent visit with Joe, Trussell was proudly discussing his brand new Netflix original cartoon series titled The Midnight Gospel.
Duncan co-created and stars in the animated Netflix series. The show describes itself as:
Traversing trippy worlds inside his multiverse simulator, a space-caster explores existential questions about life, death and everything in between.
Rogan, Spotify, And Duncan Trussell
We have been proclaiming Duncan Trussell as the undisputed best recurring guests on the Joe Rogan Podcast for quite some time now but I think Rogan himself has just solidified that status as well.
Rogan kicked off his debut on Spotify with none other than Duncan himself and those two went hard with a marathon 5+ hour episode. Wow.
In case you have not been caught up on the big news, Rogan signed an exclusive licensing deal with Spotify that you can read up about here.

Duncan’s 2021 Return
I had been wondering and anxiously awaiting when Duncan Trussell would make his first visit to Joe down in his new Texas studio.
That wait is finally over thanks to a recent appearance with Rogan that got published on June 11th, 2021.
The episode was everything you would hope and expect from Duncan and Rogan.
The two seemed genuinely giddy to be reunited and once again creating content together.
They touched on China, Buddhism, futurism, life struggles, and a whole other wide range of subjects while sharing plenty of laughs along the way.
Duncan only further solidified his undisputed title as the Joe Rogan Podcast’s Best Recurring Guest.

There has been a multitude of moments on The Joe Rogan Podcast that have sparked some considerable changes in my own life. Changes that have made a powerful and positive impact on my health, career, and relationships.
Duncan inspired one of these moments for me. It may have felt like a rather nondescript point of an episode for most others but it was quite impactful for me.
Duncan was talking about his recent decision to quit drinking alcohol. Like other JRE guest Kyle Kingsbury, Duncan ceased finding any value in his relationship with alcohol.
He then went on to describe a beer as “fermented wheat juice” and that reductive description gave a major pause to me and my consumption of beer.
At that time, I was getting deeper and more committed to a gluten-free, ketogenic lifestyle, however, I had continually been giving myself a pass with beer.
I kept drinking beer despite my increased diligence with my diet as well as an unfortunate increase in the frequency of mild hangover symptoms from lesser amounts of booze.
Around the time of this episode, my enjoyment of beer had subconsciously begun to wane and my body also felt like it was having a tougher time processing the wheat and carbs, let alone the alcohol content.
I did not directly quit drinking from Duncan’s appearance, but his openness in stepping away from booze and his funny and rather gross description of beer as being “fermented wheat juice” planted major seeds for my current break from drinking, which has now gone on for 4+ years.
Duncan Trussell: Undisputed Best Recurring Guest
The Joe Rogan Podcast has become a favored form of entertainment for me. Ironically enough the comedy and laughs are probably the least of what continually pulls me back to the show.
That is definitely the case with comedian Duncan Trussell as the undisputed best recurring guest ever. There are some quality laughs to be had for sure, but Duncan and Joe together have provided such a greater and deeper value to my life than any comedy ever could.
Duncan seems like a good dude who is trying to figure out life, like most of us are, while keeping it light and joyful along the way.
Much respect to him for his openness and candor for not only the positive things he has figured out in life but also the challenges and struggles he has so openly shared over the years on Joe’s show.

(ranked in no specific order)
1. Duncan Trussell
Duncan is a comedian and podcaster as well. He seems to possess a considerable desire for exploring consciousness and what this journey of life is truly all about.
Duncan always drops some significant nuggets of wisdom each and every time he is on the podcast. Every episode he is on is a must-view.

2. Bob Lazar & Jeremy Corbell
Bob Lazar is a physicist who claims to have worked on covert operations within area 51 that was focused on reverse engineering alien technology taken from alien spaceships in the possession of the United States government.
Appearing alongside Bob is documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell who produced a film about Bob that is available on Netflix.
This episode and Bob’s story are absolutely captivating.
He seems like a credible guy to me who wants no part of the notoriety that comes along with sharing his story but at the same time feels compelled to share it for the greater good of humanity.
3. Elon Musk
At a certain point in our culture, entrepreneurial executives have become our modern-day rock stars and there may be none with a bigger profile than Elon Musk, co-founder and CEO of Tesla.
Elon’s first appearance with Rogan almost broke the internet. It even had a ripple effect on Wall Street when Musk opted to partake in a cannabis session live in the studio with Joe.
Check out a clip below from his return visit with Rogan and you can find his full debut episode right here.
4. Graham Hancock
Like Randall Carlson, the discussions stemming from Graham Hancock are unlike any science or history you have previously encountered. Graham, noted author, theorizes that human civilizations extend back much further than what is accepted in academia.
Based on this he also theorizes that these civilizations excelled in arts, science, and technology at levels we can not even comprehend.
These civilizations and their progress have since been wiped clean entirely due to dramatic shifts in the earth’s composition.
Randall and Graham did a joint episode together as well. Their work plays a strong complementary role to each other and they are riveting when combined.
